High Holidays 5781 Digital Prayerbook

Our synagogue has purchased digital licenses for you to to access the digital edition of Mahzor Lev Shalem.

To access the digital mahzor, please go to https://issuu.com/store/code and enter the code Y27Z6TAE.  That is the code for SHJC.

You will be given the option to login with your Facebook or Google credentials, or to create a new, free account with Issuu.  Once you are logged in, the digital mahzor will appear in your Issuu account automatically. Once the digital mahzor has been added to your Issuu account, you will be able to access it from the Issuu app for tablet or mobile devices (as long as you are logged in to the same account).

Members of the same family MUST share one license so that we have enough licenses for the entire congregation.  You will be able to access the mahzor on multiple screens or devices, as long as you are logged into the same Issuu account.  If you have asked for multiple members of your family to log into our services, please share with one another your Issuu account login.  This implies that instead of using your Facebook or Google credentials, you should simply create a new, free account with Issuu that will be easier to share with your family members.  Out of courtesy for your fellow congregants, please DO NOT create more than one account per family.

If you would like to access the digital mahzor in airplane mode, before the start of Yom Tov, open the Issuu app on your phone or tablet that is connected to the internet, and select the digital mahzor.  Swipe through the digital mahzor to make sure all the pages have loaded. Then switch your device to airplane mode.  The digital mahzor should remain accessible as long as the Issuu app is open or minimized in the background of your device.  Do not quit the Issuu app, because when you reopen, it will need to reconnect to the internet in order to access the digital mahzor.

In the Issuu mobile app and in some web browsers, the mahzor may initially open to the last page of the mahzor, since the platform defaults to a left-to-right page display. To resolve this, simply move the slider bar at the bottom of the page display all the way to the right. Once you have added the mahzor to your Issuu library, you can also use this link to go directly to the first (reading right-to-left) page: https://issuu.com/books-rabbinicalassembly/docs/digital_mahzor/944?fr=sZTU5ZDE3MDIxNj
